Finished checking traps by 0945hrs & returned to lab to stuff Sorex.
Picked up all the traps in the transect east of RC-1. Spent the
rest of the morning in the lab preparing previously frozen
specimens. Spent the afternoon cleaning the cabin in prep for
Turkey Day. Reset only drift fences on RC & MC grids from
1100 to 1700 hrs. Today was clear, breezy at times, low 70's.
Nov. 26 Happy Thanksgiving! 0700hrs - out to check drift fences. It's clear, calm,
and cool (low 40's). Checked all traps, closed them, left traps
blocking passage ways, and covered pit falls. Finished by
0930hrs and returned to stuff mortalities. I'm taking the
next few days off for Thanksgiving.
Nov. 28 This afternoon Marco & I set traps on 6210 RC, and drift fences,
RC
and MC drift fences, and the top 2 rows of traps on MC.
We finished by 1145 hrs. Today was mostly clear, calm,
king in tb mid 70's.
