Finished checking traps around 0400hrs. Returned #1983 from
draft fence to lab to collect tissues. Spent the rest of the
morning cutting corners for the pits on the draft fence, which
I put near the cans while resetting traps. Reset traps
on RC-1 from 1500 to 1615hrs. I moved several of the
traps on the east side of the grid, and in the process found
a potential nest site of #1931 (see spp.oct). On the
west side on the north side of the stream, I only set
the first three stations. Set the same traps on the grid as
last night, plus station 5,17. Reset traps on MC-1 from
1030 to 1700hrs, also resetting same grid traps as last night.
Today was clear, breezy, temp in mid 70's.
