I used #1982 at the truck and released her in the field before returning to the lab around 1000hrs. In the afternoon I sunk east 3 mou cans on MC-1 drift fence, finishing that project. Also finished painting the fence west of MC-1 which almost finished off the paint. Reset traps on MC-1 drift fences by 1600hrs, and RC-1 drift fences and transects by 1700hrs. Today was breezy, partly cloudy, and cool (low 70's) Forecast is for rain tomorrow. 2115hrs - out checking traps on RC-1. Since she mainly interested in lactating females, I'll only check the transects on the north side of the stream to the east west of the grid, and the south side to the west of the grid. It ended in a thick blackberry, poison oak, stinging nettle, bay tree thicket that borders the stream. I dusted her with ORANGE & released her at this point. She went into the middle of the thicket. I pursued after her for ~4m until I lost the trail & she've got too thick. Should examine this tomorrow in the light. Also closes out opposite side of creek, but no powder seen). 346 ?
