Salpae
Five species of the genus Salpa were taken, three being aggregate, in strings of from two inches to five feet (as occurred in one instance) in length; and two solitary, one of which was of large size - 2 1/2 in. by 1 in. See sketches.
Neterpoda
A small Firola was taken in great numbers; - some of the specimens having the filiform attachment mentioned by Desneur. A number of the curious Phylliroes also occurred, of which an anatomical sketch was made. A single specimen of Atlanta was taken.
Pteropoda
Of this family a few specimens of the genus Cleodora (C. striata) were all that occurred.
Crustacea
Two or three species of Calanoid Entomostacans occurred, one & large, blue, with a white spot on the back. Four species of the Hyperine, numerous in individuals, occurred in and about the meduse, one, a Phronima probably
