10 Salpae Five species of the genus Salpa were taken, three being aggregate, in strings of from two inches to five feet (as occurred in one instance) in length; and two solitary, one of which was of large size - 2 1/2 in. by 1 in. A number of the curious Phylliroes also occurred, of which an anatomical sketch was made. A single specimen of Atlanta was taken.
