Monday September 29 -1913.
A pleasant day at Lone. I took advantage
of it to put my The anemometer. We brought
gravel down from the hill in baskets and
leveled off The sledge floor.
Later on I went up the stream
valley to the plateau hunting but it was
blowing too hard to see much.
Tuesday September 30 -1913.
I connected The anemometer with The
single register which was furnished by The
Weather Bureau.
It moved during the night and
we had a bad S.W. gale which rushed
about 50 cars I day biscuit off The
Point. Later we went out and shifted
the pile somewhat higher up.
Monday Oct. 1-1913.
Er and I went hunting with Nick-
aping mah on the NE plateau. Er got a fox
in addition to our bag of hare and prae-
majors. Our store of game is increasing rapidly.
Today's commenced the regular meteorologi-
cal observations that we will record while
we are at Lick.
