Transcription
visitors were Mrs & Lhrichts on their way after
bears, hooftones, Timms, Irish, Pigeon, etc. While
Tank was there a pole nearly demolished the igloo.
I built another one with firing and window - The
snow house was comfortable indeed. Alice & Sincer-
ping returned on the 25th with much of skin & meat.
They brought news of this excellent luck. Mrs & Samy
returned on the 27th having killed nothing. I returned in
time to see JOT off, who he was just leaving for
Bermuda the wind Alice & Sincerfirmed.
Saturday May 1, 1915
High N E wind + drifting snow + 8°
The past few days have been very warm -
up to 18° above zero once. Today is wintry enough.
I went to the Island but walking unpleasant,
which is putting it mildly.
Monday May 3, 1915
High wind continues with drifting snow + 10°
Chance distinguished herself by coming
in with nine rabbits today weighing 72 lbs in
all. I am working on my map. The weather
is very warm but the wind is uncomfortable.
