12 Thursday July 17th Wrecked on the Labrador. Barge Point Camp. Beach Stream x stores 2 fathom line In the morning the Canadian Revenue cutter the Stella Maris came to our assistance having received a wire from us via Red Bay 12 mi. north of our disaster. At the 8 o'clock high water she was able to move on. We continued unloading in the good weather. Any sea would have finished us. By 5.30 o'clock we had practically cleared the ships, the Stella Maris her ing taken 184 cases. At 6.30 P.M. nearly high water. The Stella Maris pulled on her moorings with the assistance of our life boats and engines. Commenced loading at once. x Write about distance this night.
