In the morning the Canadian Revenue cutter
the Stella Maris came to our assistance having received
a wire from us via Red Bay 12 mi. north of
our disaster. At the 8 o'clock high water she was
able to move on.
We continued unloading in the good weather. Any
sea would have finished us. By 5.30 o'clock we
had practically cleared the ships, the Stella Maris her
ing taken 184 cases.
At 6.30 P.M. nearly high water. The Stella Maris
pulled on her moorings with the assistance of our life boats
and engines.
Commenced loading at once.
