FOREVER. 149 Friday, October 2d 1915 [Third Round] "Bite + fare" - The bowlers and two bignores con- tinue with us. Jesse rested from his strenuous work of the past few days. I walked, read + thought as per routine. I fear that our visitors will become undon by and large. Their fitness is gone and we have not so much a joke of cards for their amusement. Last night I managed them to draw pictures - and today they amused themselves by shooting small arrow bows which they have made. They are like children and any confined confinement falls on their energetic spirits. As a matter of interest I will keep a list of the divers by which these two boys amuse themselves - I say boys, the one must be over 25 and the other nearly 35 years of age: 1. Each examined all of our provisions, equipment and every part of our little house. 2. 2nd sharpened his knife + made for himself a small bow drill out of a stick of wood + a wire nail 3. Each construct a successful bow gun + darts barbed with sharpened nails. They shot at an oil can for a while. 4.
