A.H. Sunday Aug. 2, 1914 Rain today. Cold and damp. Ok men went hunting and later Hal & Joe went out in Their kayaks. No game was seen. I went out in the flattie but saw nothing except a few ducks. Monday August 3-1914 The third ice boat out last night for a day Island and to mouth of the River. But this was no wind to take the pros out and they dreadful spun all day with the tide. Jesse has been a little under the weather this past two days. He is working hard on the kite. He is still doing a great deal of photographic work. Tuesday August 4-1914 my cool day - I invented a new kind of jumbling and a new kind of pie but - the crowed ate them so I suppose they are all right. Wed. Aug, 5-1914 I put the tide egg on the water. At low tide we hauled the motor boat down and tonight she floated clear.
