5/5 Fired but nothing down. Stephen Gibson C. P. O. went south to the Kua River, a western tributary of the Mongi, but found his way blocked. The log bridge had been washed away, the water muddy and flowing strongly. There are two men with dogs in camp tonight. We hope they will help us to hunt wallabies, but often they are just passing through.
