Cooper & Vette "The people through are getting quiet and "off to go and have fun" I had been here ever since the first time I came in. It was just before Christmas, and I saw a sign on the wall that said "Cafe." I went inside and found out about the coffee shop. I started working there as a barista. The owner was nice to me and gave me some tips. I learned how to make good coffee and get along with customers. One day, an old man came in and ordered his usual latte. He told me he had been coming here for years because the coffee tasted so good. As time went on, I became more comfortable with my job. I even started making up names for regulars who would come back again and again. It felt like we were all part of a small community within this tiny cafe. One day, while I was busy preparing drinks, someone walked in wearing sunglasses despite it being daytime outside. They looked around nervously before approaching the counter where I was standing behind. "Can you help me?" they asked hesitantly. "What do you need?" I replied calmly without raising any suspicion towards them. They took off their glasses revealing themselves to be none other than Mr. Smith from down town! He explained that he had lost his wallet somewhere near here and needed assistance finding it again ASAP if possible before leaving forevermore after losing everything else too soon due lack thereof money inside said pocketbook belonging solely unto himself alone ever since birth until now present moment occurring right now very shortly thereafter.
