The crack in the store now extends
nearly half way around and threatens
trouble soon. Yesterday I put on my
heavy drawers and to-day my heavy under-

Peter and his party, including Dr.
Hunt and Captain Comer, left about
3a.m. for Umenak via the ice cap. I

of wide leads encountered between
Parker Snow Point and Akpat.
