EB - 4/4 12/27 -> Driving to Gullah to Hamlin Pool along shore tracks. Tracks bearing NW to beach after [illegible]. Followed .3 mi. Parked in dush line walk to beach. Flat helictic mats + Strom w. Cauliflower tops. All over cauliflower, collected head. Further away fr H2O edge blazism domes + flat w/ fly rust colored tops - Collected top. Further away fr H2O edge ls showing "mud cracks"+ infilling. Also a "holely" or lacely weathering of ls. Collected sample. Thus at edge of beach where piles of loose shells weathered, saw a bit of shell conglomerate. Saw yesterday N of apt which had fossil wd. No fossil wd. here. A head lands to S. ls. with weathered caves. Some 30-40' inside. Took photos there. Animal buttons - human campsites.
