Petronica Note B+g + Juv, easily distinguished in field. Appears in family parties of 4, appears occasionally as 2 to 1 female in which case party generally 5, easily turned close by "chip chip" calls. Appears on coastal flats. One heard calling & seen 2/8/37 within 1 mile of sea r few feet above sea level. Becomes more common about 1000ft + increases in numbers in the forest which starts a little above 1200 this side of the island.
