August 3. Up early 9 in field. Dorm after 7:00. Got enough more cheese whignose for distribution, afew other things. In before 8:30, packed, folded beds, tied up sleeping bags, air mattresses, etc., ate breakfast & got gear to plane before 10:00, our agreed time of departure. However, Maher had to write a letter or pack some specimens he wanted to send to ARL, so we didn't get loaded until 10:35 or in the air at 11:45. Dorstburg - I spent the time picking up small black, red & green pebbles! Flew overhead directly to Sachs Harbour, arriving at 11:45. Stopped only long enough to open down of plane & take mail from Eric Davison & back in the air again at 11:50. Weather at Sachs
