July 15. Got up about 3:00
am. to shut off stove - wind
had died down & wagon
much too warm - looked out
there was large wolf
mummaging around among
drums, etc. Called Dorothy &
she saw it, too... it seemed
quite unperturbed by us.
Although cairn was still
very low, we could see sun
right in north between two
mountains north of lake,
between which the outlet of
Nolack lake runs. Brought
in fresh meat that we had put
under house ! Bob Murphy
piles of last night's plane
Told me that Banal / coastal
plain had been having good
weather during our stormy spell.
