Submersanty leaves, but suddenly producing an apical tuft + pennate. Much else q. interest. Also photographed many higher plants. From ridge, went east to swamping ridge connecting to back of eastern high ridge close To camp. Up south side & over top just at E. end of Noluck lake. Down on an angle for 1/2 mile, then across wet tundra to camp Mosquitoes too ferocious & I too thirsty after 6 hours of work to do much collecting on way down - will save two for shorter days, shortly out of camp. Did see much Rudela, however, I collected Lepicolea
