on rocky, gravelly, felsitic
south slope in first foot.
hills 8 miles southwest
of Marsing, Owyhee Co.,
Idaho.
Flowers pink. Calyx glandular,
the intercostal membrane
carinate. No other phlox
seen in the vicinity.
