8217 - May 12, 1959 Rocky soil with Artemisia absintha and scattered penigen, just north of the Sprague River, 4 miles east of Bly, Klamath Co., Oregon. Trup. 37 S. R. 15 E. Elev. about 4500'. Heads yellow. Most plants ap- parently rayless, but one plant had evident, short, narrow, dull white (!) rays. Erigeron chrysopsidis Gray ssp. austinae (Greene) Cronq. Erigeron - austina?
