till I felt myself getting insane and woke up.
Needless to say right outside the tent next to my
head, a bunch of woodstorks were fighting.
They kept it up the rest of the night so I couldn't
get any sleep. I felt like killing those woodstorks
and if it hadn't been for some faint traces
of dawn I would have killed them. The dreams
correct themselves don't seem odd to me, but the
fact that I dreamed them seems odd. These are
the first times I have ever dreamed stags going
insane and to dream both of them within 3 days
is worse.
Aug 16-28. French Frigate Shoals.
Fact Is.
When I first arrived on East Island a
few weeks ago there was a young seal here
than a week old (probably about 4 days). It? I saw nothing
protective. On Aug 25 I didn't see my protective
young very chubby and about 4 feet long. Night of
August 25 young found alone on shore sleeping.
Ever since then it has been alone both day and night.
On the night of Aug 27 I found a clutch of turtle
eggs hatching and helped 106 young into ocean (a
large number got eaten by crabs and lost before they
reach ocean) about 6 of the young were deformed
when dug out of clutch. Eggs about 14 miles down. One
bad egg found in clutch. On Whale Bay saw a turtle
lay 84 eggs, about 50% of the time the same
in two's the rest single, no 3 at a times.
