Three guess why: Out of two thousand birds build I only found two ticks. One tick a hundred, The same as now: ticks at all. Since the density of ticks has nothing to do with a rootie colony using the same spot every breeding season then I only thing I can think of is the moisture in the soil determines the tick populations. I built myself up all day today to 4000 in one night! It didn't get dark till 8:35 by 9:00 I had only 100 done. So with this depressing thing confronting me, I dropped quota to 3000 and it~~~ when the moon came up I dropped off to 2000 of it took me two and a half hours to do the last 700. Now still depressing, it takes a lot to build myself up to 4000 then have it shatters. Have a common rooty setting on a small nestly. The C rooks seem to be mostly on epp and large muthings. July 20.
