170 North Orange Grove Ave,
Pasadena, Cal., 1920, Feb. 26.
My dear Professor:
The Guatemala Atheta comes
nearest to (Himalota) pendula
Shp., but is apparently not an
Atheta (for the mesosternum
is rounded), rather a Thamiaraea;
or am I certain about the
species.
I shall work up Atheta
some day, and separate from
it a number of species belonging
to other (old) and new) genera.
Very sincerely yours,
A. Fergiyes
