Nov. 26 Cape Hallett, Antarctica.
I cant recall the day in any detail
even 24 hours later. I knew I was
busy most of the day with the
seal business. I made a round of the
shenery in the afternoon & spent the
evening cleaning some of the skeletal
parts of the seal. The glacier sea water for the next time
Nov. 27 Cape Hallett, Antarctica - Sunday.
Up fairly early, I wrote a few notes then
went to work on the pugical skin &
shenned out the limbs. This took me
until 3 P.M. I then spread out the skin
To let the shenae get to them, the large
skin being so stiff I could not work at it
the w temperature was down so that
working bare handed was uncomfortable.
Made a round of the shenery from 6-4
S.P.M checking mostly nest which needed
it. In late evening picked up 3 clutches
of penguin eggs.
Nov. 28 Cape Hallett, Antarctica. Made a round
of the shenry in the morning after first cleaning
up some back notes. Returned to base at
2 P.M. Spent the afternoon shennning the
limbs out of the large seal skin. The
day was warm & sunny and has been
the past couple of days.
