Journal after everyone departed. With the departure of the 6 after bodies in our filthy danceway but we got busy & cleaned house. The floor scrubbed revealed a gray deck paint underneath. We even got new linoleum which had come on the plane to replace our old cats. Colin Bailey dug out some white paint & we gave the plywood panel which subdivide the danceway a coat of flat white. I made a round of the scenery from 4-6 P.M., painted my share of the painting (2 panels) & went to the show "The Lake" a very disappointing film. Nov.24 Cape Dallett, Antarctica. Thanksgiving day. I slept in until about 9:30 the A.M. In spite of good intentions I worn a holiday mood and did not feel like working. I did catch up on some note writing before noon & made a round of the scenery from 2 to 4 P.M. Attended a party for an hour or so & then did some more painting in the danceway. The rest of the ship group had put a colored cost on the partitions & I did my allocated 2 quest before dinner. The
