Males 1960 Journal Shrines in evening. Nov.14 Cape Hallett, Antarctica. Morning spent putting up one snow petrel skin. I spent the morning in dress in order to have a conference w Bob Titus our scientific leader at the station regarding our sleeping quarters. It turned out that he was not up so the conference did not come off until after lunch. Following this I went to the skway and watched for 2 hours. It was quite cold + a stiff wind made it uncomfortable so I left at 4 P.M. in order to put up another petrel before supper. Cut a third one up in the evening. A fine impromptu beer party then, developed in the bio-lab & I left at 2 A.M. or a little after so it was breaking up. Nov.15 Cape Hallett, Antarctica. Up at 10 A.M. with a slight headache, though even at that I was in better shape than Keith une a Colli Bailey both of whom I found it necessary to go back to bed & sleep in the afternoon. The wind was blowing pretty hard a steady 20-4 25 mph with gusts to 40. I saw
