Mable 1968 Journal Nov. 5 some supervision. Day was wery, still & overcast. Nov. 6 Hallett Station, Cape Hallett, Antarctica. Sunday. Walked out to the large mesa the berg 1/4 mile off camp & photographed a & Weddell Seal at calf. Took both movies and still slides. After lunch walked one Towards cape, took a few feet of pictures of penguins arriving at the colony, & picked up the partly eaten remains of an adult penguin. John Schenetti (?) arrived on the plane & hi, pom Douglas, & Dick Littell (USARP P10) walked about the nearby & the sundry taking pictures. Finished cleaning that penguin carcass & read a bit in the late evening. Nov. 7 Hallett Station, Cape Hallett, Antarctica. Monday. Spent the latter part of the morning in the Sundry after first writing up notes & doing a few odd & ends. After lunch returned to the Sundry & remained until about 4:30 when I returned to the lab. After supper skinned out a penguin and put the skin - made out - out to be cleaned by the sones. By inspecting it every little while I found out a few-
