Umb. however gets up. Walks 2 feet to chick stands there 304 second minute, peck down as if feeling. Then walks back to nest & settles on egg. Perhaps B. only heading for chick It is only a foot from him. B. sits: 2:42 B. 349 walks to nest, heard one or 2 "incubation call" B. then sat by nest. U. male no more to get up. 2:56 On ad.11 flew into nest. After a moment moving about ahead of the begging chick at regurgitated + chick ate. Second ad. then joined in. Second left flew & ate (after eating some?) took adumb. First second, at some other chick finished + remains sitting in endown. 3:09 B. 349 stands by nest gave spp. call. Umb. smuggles down on egg, B. sits. gets up again a moment later again gave inc. call & again B. umb. just sits & B. also sits down. 3:17 Umb. stands for a moment but sets down again on egg. Band standing next to nest. Band then sits down next to Umb. seems to peck against it & Umb. smuggles on egg. 3:26 Band 29 returns, obviously from Spa. Mate challenges as it lands.
