Catharus macrourus Jan. 7 5:16 Mate #11 meet of lone flower while Durate above entry it is nongore & was present a minute or 2 ago 5:18 11 returns lands in enclosure & challenges, stands, chick doesnt go to it. Mate outside starts walks pathway around then regurgitate. Bird in enclosure flies out & eats some of food other bird meets some both challenge or pearing bird; both stand. 5:28 One of 11 in enclosure. Chick chased it around. Other flew off. This one left enclosure now sits 16 feet away. Question: Does one of the birds do most or all feeding. Chick didn't beg from first bird to enter enclosure but did from second. Also bird while outside enclosure was fed outside by mate. Nest 38 One adult was acting as if it was going to feed the chick; other stood 5 feet away in full view--all practice giving new cell (of all things). This just sort of juggled out but contributes to question above. Nest 235 Chick also one adult comes over, chick begs, adult refuses moves away, second adult comes over chick begs adult move of chick following bring, my few drops chick quiet a moment then begs again finally adult bring up food other ad. comes over eats some. Both adults fly away.
