The other 7 split off and walked out ontoullet cone. 12:28 Unbanded 42 who had very gradually been shifting his position from an original 15 feet from nest to 40 feet over the last 15-20 minutes, walked slowly to nest. The incubating bird (banded) at once got up, stretched wings vertically walked few steps forward. Unbanded set. Banded spent 2 minute tossing invisible items & white flecks back one shoulder then flew to Spa. 4 penguins walked by me about then out into cone. One chased 12 off nest & then left, alone, across cone. Two more stayed by Spa & are now walking this way. The 2 penguin walked between nests 2040- 2302 on out.
