Male 1960 Catharacta maccormicki 33 Nov.14. & feather lunker in place. Feathers seen flying in fang. Third bird flew a minute late. Fray lasted 10 minutes. Lft Blue gondid met co-mate the above. 3:10 Y-0♀ moved 20 feet from nest, out, then left shugy when I wasn't looking. 3:15 Pt Y-9♀ returns land near nest then moves 30 feet away & sits. Mate gets up (few minutes later) flies to have it. No challenges stands, mate sits. Pt O-Y finally flies, mate leaves a moment later. 3:25 bird flies past w penguin egg in bill. Left above watch at 3:40 & left shenary at 4 PM. Post mortem noted. - A triangle Pt Y-0 was seen presumably with his mate, a third bird landed with by them. All 3 challenged. Challenging continued for several minutes sometimes together, at times Pt Y-0 & stranger, alternating. All 3 then sat. Stranger finally departed. Lack of hostility vs stranger, i.e allowing him it vs remain & showing no attempt to drive it off was puzzling. Nov.17 31 Shuas were seen bathing, preening, and resting near a small melt pool on the
