Maber 1960 Carbarata maccornichi Nov. 7 Another companion flight. Two flew about wobbery skewing together. Involved a chase when one fell behind on a turn - no pass but a glide up together both get going fast, set their wings & ghled. Body is sleeked & wings held as that distal part & slopes back a little the reminds one very much of raven. Anyway (also path of glide is just slightly upright than horizontal - not an upglide.) One bird landed E of me 25 feet near a sitting bud, chattering + both sat 3 feet apart. Other bird landed upon slope 70 yds away. 11:30h two bluffing long mutual calling. Both [illegible] in portion, foot counts of tail not fluffed. Call é é or éá, éá very silent there. One bird very minutely did this continuously for minutes or more Other bird kept stopping raising head + looking about 11:35 Same pain in copulation. Removed standing. Made it 3 times. I remained aboard throughout Friend head & jabbed at his bill about 3x in process. It in continuous cop. call, & gave low guttural growl each time he made it "rrrrrr"
