Catharscta maccormicki Mr.3 begging posture as he touched down then ran to him with wings spread & immediately ate something he had regurgitated. Another bird came in a moment later, same section. And on ground challenged & begged as it landed. Arriving bird regurgitated in a moment other bird ate. Arrival then flew 30 feet to neighbor bird which challenged then went with street. beg posture - He walked off slowly gone no recognition. Bird followed fly finally sat 4 feet apart. First bird landed by sat 20 feet away. 4:45 One bird in choke. Call e e e mutter with a muted, moaning "begging" "angry" quality repeated at about 1 second intervals. Skook turned about on one spot. Head down, neck shortened. Finally set. No sign of mate. A p.sitting close by. 4:50 P. left below. Unbanded bird has returned - banded bird challenged (could 1 or 2 neighbors) at as it circled & landed. Banded stood quietly, sort landed then sat. Returned bird landed 10 feet off then walked to 5 feet from site & stood. 5:00 PM - Lift Senary
