Catharacta maccormicki jalo at 'B's bill. B then stood tall & choked up another moorl which was eaten. B walked off few feet & sat. A. ate some snow + eat. 11:10 One bird just delivered challenge call on wing. Did this with wings almost horizontal in what appeared to be a normal glide postion. Continued call as it landed then right out challenge stand. Joined by second flying bird with called, then stood, finally separated. One flur off, second flur + landed again. Same one bird land on ice hammock 100 yde out on bay + give challenge as it landed. No other bird about. Another pair too begging as I wrote above. On big ice few yde. from shore. One too begging, pohing at mouth of other. Other bird down trying to renguited, turning + raising head to avoid first bird. Both stopped. 11:30. One member of settled pair at Narrow end of Solenay closed another out over bay ice. Actually chase so as to close gap between then glided around + returned. No suggestion of upglide or ritualized boundary display. 11:45 In right beneath eating something together Pont lenow of steroa recomplicated or not. Howwery both grabbed at + gave a momentary tug
