Oceamites oceanicus
at about 3 PM today. always
Dec 8 One flew through patrolling at about 5 PM
along hill slope, low to slope rapid
mete flight.
Dec 13 Watching from door of lab at 12:10 to
12:18 AM during which time 15 Wilson
petrels went by, all were heading NNE toward
open water. They were flying singly & low-
thought once 4 were seen at the same
time in a widely scattered group.
Dec. 21 While on the sheer slope above the line
of the bush I saw a Wilson petrel on
2 occasions flying back & forth along
the slope. This may have been the same
bird. At any rate I had the definite
impression that the bird might be
located along the slope somewhere
but when watched it eventually flew out
over the bay.
