Made 1960 Aptenodytes forsteri Dec 4. Two emperors seen off camp in morning. One thine all afternoon. In evening 2 were standing lunched ten feet apart a few hundred yards off camp. They remained there without moving & were still there when I went to bed about 11 P.M. Dec 6 1 emperor seen Dec 7 5 reported by Dan Foster in A.M. 2 seen late 7 in evening. Cataract. Dec 8 8 emperors present in morning.
