Maley 1961 Journal Feb 25 Address of '. Belsy B. Krieg's 4611 Sherman Street Denver 16, Colorado Forward Seal skin to this address. Kriegales gave me 5.00 for postage Mar. 6 Cape Hallett, Antarctica. Finally made the trip by helicopter to the petrelery. The trip was set up for 4 days ago but the wind storm which came up that day prevented the flight. Arthur Ford USGS Geologist, Brien Lied + myself were the participants. The trip was originally scheduled for 5 people, then 4, & finally at take off the pilot cut it down to 3. Brian, Don + myself drew straws & Donald lost out. We left here at 10:47 & were allowed 4 hours on the ground there. The Doppler returned at 2:30 & pick us up. We were landed on a level spot in at saddle behind the Sippo- towles Remparts. Details of our camping are given in lagodious account & seems account. Returned to depot base by 3 P.M. Took some black + white pictures of the base as we approached & several of snow petrel chicks in nest
