Journal [illegible] Jan 25 - Cape Hallett, Antarctica Clear, calm day. Checked "bottom" Half of sheney in morning, banded 24 more chicks which humana leaves a few still to be banded. Took 300 feet of movie film in afternoon x also did recall spent some time watching a Leopard Seal on an ice floe even fish some 25 feet of movies, if it. These were taken at some distance and will show least were distortions. It began snowing about supper time. Jan 26 - Cape Hallett, Antarctica. It was snowing heavily in the morning when I stepped out. The snow continued, though at less intensity through the day. In the evening the wind rose to mild gale proportions & the snow again became heavy. The only accomplishment of the day was the skimming of 4 penguins, 2 ad. & a well grown chick. The former were salted. Jan 27 - Cape Hallett, Antarctica. The snow had largely ceased by morning
