the denary in the morning. The afternoon
was spent watching nests 349+11 over in
the skies. The hand showed the first signs
of improvement at last. Pain is decreased
considerably + I was able to move the
arms easily + with no pain. This is welcome.
Word came through late in the day that
I am going to Cape Adare on a one day
trip; also the Dr informs me I may be
sent to U.Z. for treatment depending on
diagnosis.

Collected
penguin remains
from nests
Got all of the chicks weighed and also went
around + collected all penguin remains I
found at the nests. The accumulation was
considerable as I haven't done this in a
week or more. In afternoon also measured
+ recorded the bulk of the days catch. Also
unfortunately aggravated the hand a little but
I think it was worth it. The hand in
general shows no big improvement anymore.
I have 2 more days until the ship
gets here to regester a real going otherwise
I'm sure the Dr has decided to ship me
out regardless of the diagnosis.
