Makey 1960 Journal the finest possible under the circumstances. Two movies were shown in the evening & while the first was on Brian, Douglas, Titus & myself got the punch, eggnog, & etc ready & the party got underway right after the second movie, about 11 PM. The punch was monotonously strong it was flavored with lab. alcohol & I who flavored it put in too much. I thought this might have adverse effects on people but the contrary was true. One drink + people were gone, the party started in high gear + progressed rapidly. At about 11:40 the climax occurred. Chuck Rogers attempted to move the table containing the food + drinks. Two legs collapsed sending everything & to the floor. The crowd stood in shocked silence. I don't think I will forget the emotion charged scene of 20+ people staring open mouthed at a huge lake of 4 gallons of eggnog - the same of punch + various & eatables, glasses etc. I nearly had hysterics but poor Chuck was subdued for the rest of the evening. The mess was mopped up before midnight
