"Elymus condensus" - Red - ft. 7 ft. high - Mona Lobe - dry soil. 6000.-7000 - Brenner 1892 where grows - test grass, thin - D.Groves 2219 = (same species with roughland paleus) a slender form with a reddish spikelet - Fort Point, S. Frisco - Bolunda 2275. "Elymus silvicus" - Marin Co. very large Bolunda - 2284 - San Francisco Bold 2285.
