to Aoyo, Mendocino City & Anderson
Valley. (Northern part of Sane co. Mendocino co is
southern part of Humbler co.

6470 Calamagrostis. Grows on bluffs along
the sea shore in the Mattole District
(fewies of rocks) it seems to be the same
species collected at an alt. of 12000
on Mount Dana.

Sphagus swamps between Noyo and
Ellis Vines. Of this I sent former some
old bearicles and a few straggler
collected in Sept, 65. In the same
swamps occurs also Cal. Alentica, this
species may be distinguished far off
from the other. Besides than two of
these swamps I sent a 3d one only a few
inch high 6-8; Panicum spicatum
1-2 inch.
