The main hall consisted of a bare hall with a few prayer mats on the stone floor. Facing the center behind is the immense coat of the Siamtown Guild Hall. This large granite slab column & great halls with ancestral panels, soldiers with their rifles were quartered here as they were in Nan Kall of the temples visited in Santor. The government has at this time a large garrison of troops in Santor to suppress rebellions. In the garden of the hall was an artificial mountain made of pieces of gray limestone held together by mortar - & holding in some places & cliffs miniature temples I saw a few fish tail palaces green & bamboo trees in
