(1) August The morning was spent at the Museum library looking over the mammal literature. The library is very complete & spacious, well arranged & quiet. The Journal of the Bombay Nat. Hist. Soc. is a large publication with fine coloured plates but the P.Z.S. in style & quite as good. (2) This morning I looked over the small mammal collection.
