In Hotel an old custom prevails of using mature servant to take care your room & do personal service. The result is the chamber boy is eliminated at the hotel & they have even eliminated the push button which rings him up although the B.H. Hotel is a fine hotel there is no telephone service in the rooms. At 9:30 O.M. I went to the only play in town, amuse affair at the Empire Theater by the Bandman's who are affixture here. The audience was the interesting feature. In the seat were men & women in evening dress, the men in black chiefly as home & the women in white a light evening gown. Most of the wives were large robust English women, in good health & cheerful, scarcely a pleinder.
