A sacred pool was seen in the place facing the temple. The waters are said to cure various broken moments of women & I saw several women bathing here. At another shrine I saw many women praying at this pool one was said to banish barneys. On the return to the hotel we visited the municipal market in a shop near by I purchased some embroidered cushions or camel hair rugs, tiger rugs here were valued at 250 Rupees & leopard skins turned at 150 Rupees quite as high as at home. The fruit section of the market contained many large mangoes, fine apples, bananas, pomegranates & grapes. Plums from up country, Mascaras, Pomelos & limes next Jackfruit was
