were seen & I feel that they
are quite rare here. No palms
was seen but a few large
slender aloes grow in the
joints. Giant bamboo
filled all the creek beds.
Biting insects + mosquitoes
were not met with. As
dark as I was waiting for
lots in the forest & saw on
the top of a side tree two monkeys
sitting on, ahead may
well out of reach of leopard's
or other climbing carnivores. I
started them & found that there
were really two pairs of monkey.
the pairs sitting beside each
other tapping away as one. At first
but they got angry & moved. A
caught a palm sith. A new
moment for this place also
a fine gobber & again. The
Shon hunter shot a flg of the
large gray long tailed monkeys.

to the same place where we
saw the monkeys yesterday
but we failed to find any as
