flourishes, were seen in cisterns

climbed up again at of the
valley no were following it
over a pass into another which
led down to the meandering
plain. Near the pines I shot
a species of very small chipmunk
having a clear buffy belly, striped
back & the usual white tip to
the ears. Later saw two others
in the same tree apart of five
oaks. Feather in also sunset
I shot another five & from a
cedar-like tall tropical tree.
Two species of flycatchers were
