lying along the shore nearly all their primary Hotel company, the only one which operates on the river. They have fleet of 30 River steamers of which have been loaned to the Brit. Govt., former steels to the Tigre River and Menjok. there is a railway line running from the shore to the center of town at the Bazar. The bazar consist of long halls or stalls in wellbuilt stone building all sort of merchandize is sold here as well as fruit, grain & vegetables. The merchants were nearly all women (Bumese) attractive & vivacious. The town is well laidout with well macdernized streets & plants. & several streets are here as well actually direct to various places.
