Ancient village with a Shan one nearby, here the deli bringalon is situated. The building was small of one story with only 3 rooms & a small court with 2 sheds. During the day I saw bananas plants often & also a few Papaiyas. Rice is the only crop raised by the Shans excepts few beans chilis other vegetables. No forest was seen on the hills, which are grass or scrubbed without any attempt at culti vation. I have seen along the road numbers of the giant elliptical leaf fig trees which are preserved for shade trees. They have a large core of tangled roots exposed & very wide horizontal The Shan Authority like bringingalon were much fearless by whom Kermitas & Galings.
