Two goats were shot by us on the P.P. 14) This morning I dragged another goat on the cliffs, by a shot directly above at some 40 yds. This one was averaging 3 yrs old. The stomach contents was largely grass. In the afternoon I went across the river down the workmen village down the road where I dragged two more goats. The first was a 5 grazing on the first cliff, on a level with the road, he was 30 yds away, I missed him at first shot, he then ran under a fallen dead tree & stood where I could see him but when I shot he rolled down cliff as this induced him suddenly fell over backward & rolled off the cliff dead.
